Former National Park Service Ranger Mark Nesbitt has written an excellent series of books on haunted Gettysburg from the perspective of an insider. His research is thorough and well documented, and he supplies riveting historical context to the events he describes. These aren't just ghost stories, they are stories detailing interesting and important moments in history as well. A fascinating read with a great mix of history and the paranormal, this series is highly recommended for anyone even remotely interested in the subject.
